Chester hails from North Carolina with 25+ years of training in sales, marketing, and management through Xerox University. Chester has been a resident of Columbus, Georgia for twenty-six years. He received his Biology Degree from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical University.
He is currently Chair of the Muscogee County Tax Assessors Board, Chair of the Work Force Board, and Board Member for the Valley Rescue Mission. He has been an active member of the Columbus and Harris County Chamber of Commerce, The Urban League of Columbus, Better Business Bureau, Kiwanis Club, and Boys and Girls, Inc.
Chester is a member of Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church where he serves as a member of the Finance Ministry, Deacon Ministry, Partners in Christ Caring Ministry, Christian Education, and Laymen Ministry.
Chester is married to an educator, Carolyn. Together, they have three adoring daughters; Nikki, Sonyé, and Onya, and two precious grandchildren; Xavier and Alaina.
